Got a question concerning steering and side sway with stock 92 Breakaway spartan chassis. Has anyone bought an add on that they would recommend and worked well ? Mine seems to bounce all over the place going down rough country raods.

Some of what you're experiencing isn't a steering issue so much as the undulations of the road surface, shifting left-to-right and vice versa. My Breakaway 28' (thought to be squirrely due to the VERY short wheelbase) is quite manageable regardless of road conditions.

The prior owner on mine installed a Steer-Safe system, and had the steering box rebuilt. Bilstein shocks were installed all around as well.

I don't know what has made mine track so well, but it tracks as if it's on rails.

One thing I did notice - when I got mine, not knowing the weights on the wheels, I pumped tire pressure to the max. Once weighed, I dropped to recommended +5psi, and handling and ride improved.
