Try a site search here for windshields. I believe they are available except for the early pre 1974 models.
Regals used the DW 730 and DW 731, not sure about the Regencies.

Some have good luck here:

(You will have to search for 80's GMC cabover tilt truck windshield, best to talk to a rep and go with the actual part # above.)

This post could not have come at a better time. We own a 1984 model but the Barth site says they are "Iveco" (8410-3152-31FPOA) for that yer vice a "Regal" and both windshield need replaced and we can not find a spot either to repair or replace. So I used this post and it looks promising. I called and talked to "Sheryl" (the other lady was not as good at knowing for sure and relayed me immediately to this lady). She stated the warehouse with that has those windshields is on Pacific Coast time (I am on Central Time in Texas) so she will call me when they open in a few hours (I called at 7 am my time since the accept calls 24/7). Will it you know how it goes.

Wow, nice to have good timing, for once. Thumbs Up

Coach 3152 is indeed a Regal (you may have confused it with 3157 which is the Iveco)

Last we knew this coach was in Michigan. Glad to know it is alive and hopefully well. The DW 730 and 731 should be correct. Let us know when you locate them. Last I knew they were still available but not all glass shops handle them. Good luck. mechanic

Well I got her to call me back. The warehouse that has them is in Eugene Oregon. The are about $480 per side + $85 to crate (one or two about the same price) then its about another $300 to ship (to me in Texas- possibly less for other places). I told her I would probably go pick them up myself and she said no problem I would just have to pay her ahead of time that way I don't do sale tax for Oregon. I just need to make sure they are the correct one for MY motorhome.

Is there a difference with a 1984 31 footer compared to Steve VW's 35 footer Regal/ Regency? Any Barth-a-holics know for sure?

Your 84 is a Regal, not an Iveco.

My 86 Regal SE is a 33 footer with tag axle.

You probably don't have a 454HO (High Output) unless you replaced it recently as I did. 1984 454 was 240 hp, 454HO is 425 hp.

DW 731 is the driver side, DW 730 is the passenger side for all Regals.

It appears the windshield prices have gone up. I found a DW 730 2 years ago for under $200. I am now looking for the DW 731 also. I should have bought one before, I guess. Good luck getting your coach fixed! Thumbs Up

Thank You Steve for clarifying me and what I have for a motorhome. I have a 4bbl carb and some type of vortex intake that I believe someone added as an after thought but I am sure its still the 84 version. Now that I know for sure I will order both sides and hopefully find someone done here in Texas to install them.

I'd shop around. I had to have the driver's side replaced, and it was only a day's shipping from Atlanta. The manufacturer is Pittsburgh Plate Glass (PPG). K&K Glass of Williston, FL at 800-889-6773 did the work. They found the glass in an hour or two. Give them my Ref # 382996 (could be 382796), last name Keeney, and see where they got the part.

They might even be able to get the glass for you and ship to TX for less than the OR place.

Rusty - how much did it cost you and when did you get it done?

Tophawk, good luck with the window job. Let us know! Thumbs Up

Your 454 probably has the Banks performance system. It has modified intakes and exhausts and will have more power than the normal 454. A good system based on feedback here.

Keep in touch, you're Barth family now! cheers

It cost me nothing, because it was rock strike damage, and in FL, there is no deductible for windshields. I contemplated repair, but replacement was the wise choice, because the old windshield broke up on removal.
