I recently acquired a 1972 Barth 28' Limited Coach , It ha a full aluminum exterior, Id really like to shine it up like the Airstreams Ive seen. The Aluminum still has a dull shine to it it hasnt turned ''blackish'' like some if=ve seen. What is the best method of polishing this machine to high lustre??
Is there a way to seal it after youve polished itup?

but, it's going to be pricey. There's bound to be a similar product out there for a lot less $.

I talked to a gentleman from Quebec this summer on this very topic. He told me that he thought the aluminum was anodised aluminum and that in order to get a shine out of it you had to de-anodise it and then you could polish it to a mirror finish. He had a polishing compound that he was polishing planes with. I will try to find the website so you can see the photos. Quite amazing actually.
