For those who have Flex Steel Captains chairs in their coach with a lumbar support I have a solution for the dead inflation motor. Last year the Little Lady's seat stopped inflating making it more difficult to keep her attention to instructing me in driving techniques. Flex Steel only sells the entire kit ($$$) when the issue was just the motor. After searching for motors I consulted my Ford Account man who found a motor from a 1980's Ford 150, the last year that individual motors were available. The Ford part screws right in where the old one mounts. You will have to use push connectors because the male Ford connector is nowhere to be found. You do not remove the switch, it works just fine. It takes about an hour or so from start to finish. The replacement motor is Ford p/n E6DZ*5465531*A and lists for $62.77. It fits just about all Flex Steel chairs.
