I am approaching 40K on my tires and have been looking for 19.5 X 6.75+ inch wide wheels with the 6 bolt Budd bolt pattern. They don't exist as far as I can tell.

I want to replace my tires with 245R70 19.5 and they need a minimum of a 6.75 inch wheel and a 1 inch larger offset. Most of the new RVs today that use 19.5 wheel come with 245R tires BUT they have either 8 or 10 bolt Budd patterns.

I have email to several wheel manufacturers asking if they have 6 bolt Budd pattern wheels but so far no response. I have also asked a couple of wheel manufacturers that claim they can make any wheel combination but no response.

I have located hubs that will fit my axle both front and rear that have 8 bolt pattern and would work with available 8 bolt 19.5 X 6.75 wheels, but that would mean changing hubs, brake rotors, probably calipers, a lot of work, a lot of money then the cost of the wheels.

Anyone have ideas?

I thought about this over night, and this is what I've come up with. Option 1: In Calgary, we have a shop that will do custom wheel repairs and modifications. I had a friend with a Land Rover that had his wheels widened by 1". Not sure if they could change the offset though. I think that would require cutting the disc portion of the wheel away from the drop center rim portion. Option 2: I seem to remember a Hino truck I worked on a few years ago, and they used a 6 or 8 bolt stud piloted design. Maybe check with them. I hope this helps.

One of the wheel makers that says "we can make any wheel combination you want", is in Canada, I haven't heard back from them yet.

It is not that it can't be done, I am looking for the most cost effective way of doing it!

Thanks for your reply

Alcoa makes (made) them.

Pioneer wheel in Minneapolis used to have them. In fact they had 6 bolt 22.5 last year.

Must be other sources as UPS had them by the truck load. Almost all of their delivery trucks used to have 6 bolt 19.5s. You might try calling their repair shop.

The problem is---Alcoa does not make them, no one does as a standard product!

I am looking for 19.5" with a width of 6.75" to 7.75". Only 19.5" X 6.0" width is made with the 6 bolt Budd as far as I have found.

All of the 6 bolt Budd style 19.5" are 6.0".

I have found 22.5" 6 bolt Budd wheel but they will not fit, don't want them anyway. I have clearance problems with the 19.5" already.
