The 93 Breakaway has a different system than on the 85 Regal. There are no valves to open or close to shift between city water pressure or water tank pressure powered by the on board water pump. OK We figured that out. If you attach the city water hose to the fitting on the outside, you have pressure. To fill the tanks, you press the auto fill switch on the control panel. OK That all works. But I don't see any valves or anything to turn that allows you to drain the water system. Are they all underneath the coach? And the 'potable water' fill has a keyed lock and the PO does not have the key. We want to sanitize the system so ?? Jim

Jim Our Breakaway has 3 drains in the water compartment-- one each for cold and hot and one that drains the water tanks. However we need to use air to blow out the lines, valves etc-- air applied at the outside city water fitting. Is the water compartment the one you do not have a key to? Pic under sink. One valve "tank fill" Under stove & drawers There is a valve in the sewage compartment that supposedly drains the tanks. Getting to the tank fill requires unscrewing a panel in front of tank fill pic

The three valves in pic #2 are behind a panel below the drawers under the stove. Note that two of them appear to be in the closed position and one in the open position. All three lead to pipes that turn 90 degrees and go thru the floor. The valve in pic #1 is for filling the tanks. But the question is, does it have to be closed to operate off city water pressure only? The PO never, and I mean never in 10 years operated off of city water. He didn't know how to. As far as draining is concerned, he didn't know any of these valves existed. The only one he was aware of is a valve in the compartment just above the sewage drain line.

I have a valve right next to the stairs underneath the coach. That drains my tank. R.P.Muise 1994 Breakaway/Cummins 5.9/Allison transmission/Spartan Chassis

My 93 has a city water inlet and a separate water tank filling port on the street side. Draining includes a valve under the floor in the closet in the back bedroom is used to drain the tank. "No two Barths are alike" Wayne
