Put on some safety glasses and gloves, get a really sharp utility knife and slowly cut a relief slit the length of the hose. Cut a little bit at a time...you should eventually cut through. The hose you're dealing with is incredibly tough. Be patient with it. Take it with you to the auto part store for comparison purposes. | ||||

If position allows, I like to stick an icepick or small screwdriver up between the neck and hose. Then sneak a squirt tube from a can of WD40 or CRC2-26 in there and give it a squirt. A couple of more times around, and it is more likely to twist off. | |||
