towerguyWhat Size Inverter Is Needed?
There was a 13 inch TV in the front of my Regency working in conjunction with a DVD player on a 300 watt inverter. I just had a 26" TV installed and changed the inverter to a 750 watt. The problem is 750 isn't big enough. Anyone have an idea of how big I need to go without draining the bank account? Thanks!

towerguyProblem solved! The inverter wasn't the problem. There is an electrical issue with the power cutoff switch or the solenoid that is keeping the inverter from doing its' job. thankfully, it is a fairly cheap repair.

Gary CarterFYI you need a much larger inverter than the wattage listed on the TV. when you turn on a tube type TV vs LCD the first thing that happens is it fires the degausing coil. This can take up to 3 time the wattage.

towerguyThanks Gary,
I'll get the owners manual out and see what I'm dealing with. Bill
