I have a row of switches on the dash of my 1987 gas model. One of them says "access", which I assume means "accessory" but I can't find out what it does. Any ideas??

Its the storage bay lights on our 1987 Regal. That could be why it looks like nothing is happening.

That is entirely possible.

I didn't know that the handles on the Barth illuminated until I 'accidently' discovered it the first night we spent in it.

Imagine my wonderment when the 'reflection' I fancied turned out to be a light inside the lucite! I suppose now a night time survey is in order.

I will advise all as to the answer. I am sure it will be a surprise.

OK, if anyone cares:

That access switch proved to be just an extra switch, with no wires going to it.

Must be just whatever you want it to be...

Mine was also unused (and I have separate switches for fog lights, compartment lights etc.). I used mine to switch on a supplemental A/C condenser fan to improve A/C performance in town. Since it's a lighted switch it reminds me to turn it off when no longer needed.
