About 7:00am my wife woke me saying that the outside lights
of the MCC were on....
So Dougie went out in the downpour from the remnants of a old hurricane
to check it out.
Started the MCC and let it build up pressure
while I flicked a few switches---OK lights were turned off Smiler
Shut down the MCC and went inside...
Around 10:00 a neighbor called....your lights are on!!!!
Now thunder and heavy rain...
10:30 looked out and lights were off...??

Do I have a mischievous ghost??

Or???

That's strange indeed! Don't know anything about the MCC but the rain sure seems the culprit. I just can't think why. hmm

I would check to see if any of the light fixtures are full of water.

Are the lights connected to the switch or a relay? Is the relay sealed etc. relay pulling in a larger relay? Wet line picking ground, mild short heats area, area dries, lights go out. Not sure if any of this is helpful But...aren't you glad this isn't a new coach under warranty that requires returning to the dealer for 6 months while it waits in line for repair? Hide

Had the same thing happen with my led running and clearance lights and thought mice had chewed something. However once I plugged in the battery charger for the chassis batteries they went out. Trickle charger now has them topped off and lights are operating normally. Suspect the low voltage was too low to keep a relay engaged and the small draw of the led's allowed them to turn on.
