gas tank hoses for S 21

I need to know how to replace hoses on top of the gas tank. the tank brackets are welded to the frame and I cannot get to



I recently acquired this coach and am anxious to get it in top shape it is 100 percent original any help will be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the site. You have come to the right place! Give us a description of the coach and we'll get you some help if we can.

My Barth is on a Chev chassis. Because of the tag axle the coach sits 8 inches above the frame. I can inspect, and with some difficulty, replace hoses, wires by reaching over the tank.

If yours is a standard height, I believe you have to drop the tank. Mine has bottom straps which are held by long threaded rods hanging down from the frame.

If yours have been welded you may have to cut the straps to remove the tank. Maybe someone else has had a similar problem.
