Can anyone tell me what kind of panel (if any) goes on the passenger side on the motor side of the tire? There is 3 rivet holes in the top where something was. when you look over the tire you can see the entire engine, Seems to me there should be something there to keep water ,mud ect. off the engine. It's not missing, it was added later. It is called a splash shield, but it really serves best as an air flow director. P30s without it are more prone to the rh rear plug nipples and leads overheating and the the rh exhaust manifold cracking and/or breaking studs at the rear. Chevy seems not to stock them, but making one is not difficult. A 25 dollar donation to this site will get you a pattern in the mail. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered | |||
