1989 25'C Regal. The mechanic ran a pressure test. Blew a hole in the heater core then T'ed it so I could go to Florida. Coming home it got cold. I'm to the firewall. Just don't see what Hank is talking about. Looks like the front end is coming off. Would someone tell me the proper sequence ? etc.

It is unlikely that you can repair the heater-A/C evaporator; it will need a new core at the very least. We have an '89 P-30 22 footer that I assume is similar to yours. If so, you will have to remove and replace the heater A/C evaporator with a new unit. Take off the right front panel (that surrounds the headlights) by carefully removing all of the rivets. Once the evaporator is exposed, take the coach to a competent air conditioning repair shop or a Chevrolet dealer. I had our entire systemevaporator, compressor, expansion tank and drier (but not the condenser) replaced with 134a equipment.
