Does anyone know of a good book/work manual to for a Chevy 454 in a 1985 Regal? I'm just looking for something to learn my way around the engine a little better. Let me know Thanks -Curtis "The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches but to reveal to him his own." Benjamin Disraeli

The best, by far, is the Chevrolet or GM Light Truck Manual for your year. It covers the complete chassis. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

That looks about right. Be sure you have return privileges so you can check to be sure there are no wiring diagrams missing. They fold out several times, and are often intentionally removed for convenience in reading or just come out from binding failure. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

I bought this book for $10 off Craigslist I haven't received it yet, but hopefully it is helpful. It was only $10 anyways! "The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches but to reveal to him his own." Benjamin Disraeli

Curtis, when you did the Craigs List search, what words did you use to describe the manual? Did you search the entire Craigs List and what category did you use? I want to buy one too but not at the $60 price for a new one. Jim

Jim I actually just did a Google search for "Light Duty GMC Service Manual" and happened to stumble upon the craigslist ad. I might have a lead on one for you, but it's for a 1986. I'm waiting on some pictures/a better description of the book from the seller. I'll let you know what I find though -Curtis "The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches but to reveal to him his own." Benjamin Disraeli
