My Tag axle compressor has stopped working since I used it last on our '87 34T Regal. Does anyone have info on where the thing is located and where the fuse to it might be?
Thanks, John

Mine is located behind the driver's headlights, seen through the radiator opening. It is a single cylinder compressor with a small Delco heater motor driving it through a toothed belt. Check for a thrown or loose belt, power at the motor, motor rotaion, and a locked up compressor.

Thanks Bill,
There's no compressor behind the Driver side Headlites. There is a compressor with a tank right in the middle just below the grill..... "Airhorns" as we all learned last week! Then I noticed one other compressor behind the Passenger's Headlight! No power to it so I opened the switches on (under) the dash and ran a jumper from the fuses above the grill opening. "BRRRRRRRRRRR".... Ye hah! By the time I got to the dash, the guages both read 20 lbs. I turned them off and the compressor stopped! Usually, I hear a "pop!", followed by a burning smell! Obviously it's a replacement compressor, it even has a "Square-D" non automotive pressure switch just like on our well. The feed for it is butt spliced and goes into that infamous glob of goop and through the firewall. A job for another day....
Thanks a bunch for giving me enough info to find the problem Bill.
Cheers, John
