Excess roll is best addressed with Bilstein shocks and a stiffer anti-roll bar in front, either IPD or Hellwig. Rear air bags will correct the P30 sag and allow you to adjust your ride height to your load. A side benefit of air bags is some reduction of roll by virtue of the stiffness you have added. Your P30 will be at its best if ride height is correct at front and rear and alignment is correct in front. P30s get knocked a lot for their handling, but are pretty decent if set up correctly. There is a big difference. I know a few Barthers who moved up to pushers to get away from P30 handling issues. I have a feeling that they might have kept their P30 if it had been set up correctly. Of course, the Barth pushers are better in other areas, too, but you do pay. I think a P30 Barth is worth spending some money on. Search this site for "P30" and "handling" and "alignment" and "ride height". I can send you ride height charts for mid 80's P30s that should apply to yours.

I bought a set of Bilsteins from Pro Am Auto Parts in March for $74.75 each. Total cost: for set of four; $299.00, no tax and free shipping. I ordered them on line at 6p.m. on Tuesday and had them in my hands Friday afternoon. http://www.proamauto.com/
