If you want to remove the tubing running to the exhaust manifolds, just buy 8 brass plugs and install with a little thread sealer. This will keep down exhaust leaks and make it easier to change the spark plugs.

Upon further inspection I do have an air pump. the black hose that appears to go from one side to the other has a + fitting that tees off to the pump. Once I remove the pump then the tubing what size belt will I then need for the alternator to operate.
