I left my gas cap somewhere in the midwest and I'm not going to drive back and look for it. The cap I lost is a strange cap. I got to looking at the gas cap on the 92 Honda and I found that it will fit real good. The question I have is that the gas cap in the Honda is not vented. How about the one I lost? Is it vented? I could get another cap from the wrecking yard from an old Honda and drill a small hole in it if I had to.
Bill H, great post on the alternator problem. I plan on making a copy of it and carrying it in the motor home just case something goes wrong with my charging system.

My Barth gas cap makes an obvious hiss when I open it (almost daily) to pour in bundles of $$$. So from that observation, I's say it's not vented.

Presently in West Munrow, Louisiana, heading for the 'Trace'
