I used to have one of those in my old Peace Arrow. During driving over the road bumps it was hitting me in the head After about 50x got used to it, but installing it would be the last thing I would consider. The whole hardware was mounted on 6 wood screw (watch your finger on installing tension springs) but the wall needs framing for it. There is a RV junk yard north of Sacramento, so check with them. there is a 19' '73 Barth in Nev you can get for around $1.5k with an overhead bed. I think the unit would be a great buy to fix up. Kinda high and far for a overhead bunk though. Ted
