Air injection pipes?
Anyone have any tips for insalling the air pipe assembly? We have fought with them for a while and are getting frustrated. These are the thicker ones (fed) and they just will not line up correctly. Any tricks? My attempt was to get the two center started and then fight with the ends but I can't even get the centers to thread. I think the torches are next but it should be interesting trying to feel if your starting to thread correctly with such a hot pipe. Thanks Lloyd

I can't offer much on the alignment, but be sure to use a high temp anti seize. And then use a US-made flare-nut wrench or flare-nut crowfoot and a fish scale to torque them to specs. An open-end wrench and/or too much torque will distort the nuts and cause problems later.

Thanks, I have flare nut wrenches. If I only could get to the point of deciding which wrench to use!!! Going to attack again this afternoon. Wish me luck!

Ford, Chevy?

I had a heck of a time with my Ford. After I put the headers on the EGR pipe didn't line up. Had to use an offset adapter to line it back up. Also the use of a set of torches to put a little bend in it.
