After much research we have determined that the rear end in the MCC 1985 Regency with the Detroit Diesel 8.2 engine is a Rockwell Meritor F-106. Parts for these are available at truck parts houses. It is identified by the casting number 3200-R- 1188 J. The rear end ratio is stamped into the ring gear.
