The Barth is at the spring shop; new front coils and air bags and re-arching the rear leafs. Lowriders are cool if you're driving a 65 Impala, but draging your belly tank on a speed bump in your Barth is a sound I'm not comfortable with. I'll post some pics when I get her back. | ||

Holy Cow! That really is low. I raised ours with Air Lift 5000 bags and Hellwig LP-35s on the drive axle. Mainly for adjustability, since our tongue load varies. I will be replacing one front bag again this weekend. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered | |||

You were low RichieC, how much difference did it actually make, looks like about 3". Speed bumps are no fun, especially when you make those funny noises....there's one at our local American Legion that I have to ride around when I'm on my bike, had my bike lowered 1 3/4" and its just enough that this particular speed bump will bottom out the frame, first time was a real trip, now I just ride around it, kinda hard to do that if you're driving a Beautiful Barth though. Bill NY, Thanks for editing my post...nothing like a "side by side" comparison. Bill H and Tina, the shop saved me a bit of cash by not hooking up the air lines to the front bags, so they're presently not filled. I expect the front to come up by another 3/4 at the front axle. btw, to any RVers on Vancouver Island, I highly recommend Hub City Springs. | |||
