I have turn signal lights on the bottom of my powered side mirrows. When checking as to why the signal lights weren't working, I apparently blew the mirrow fuse. Due to my 77 years of age I don't bend like I did when I was 23, but I thought I crawled into every nook and cranny but I'm missing a fuse block somewhere. I also have "Docking" lights that only God and Mr.Barth knows where the switch is located. As soon as this unGodly cold air gets out of Tennessee I'll try to exercise any help you can offer. Thaxx.....carl

Carl,

I also have an '88 Regal SE 33'. My docking lights work ok. Later today I will look to see exactly which switch operates them.

I am not sure which lights you fellows refer to as "docking" lights. My 88 33' SE has switch for the fog lights (driving lights) on the left side of dash in a row with a series other of switchs.

Bill & Sonja: What I call the "Docking" lights are located down low on the side of the coach between the rear axle and the tag axle.I'm sure they would help when trying to "plug in" after dark in a camp ground.

Carl,

I have 5 switches to the left of the 'speedo/guage' cluster.

They are, from left to right:

Clns lts = clearance lights
aux start
dock lts = docking lights
mtr htr
aux htr

Hope this helps.

On our '87 we have two rows of rocker switches to the left of the speedo. the middle switch in the bottom row is the dockinglite switch. Sometimes I have to push it two or three times for them to come on, so you might have to do that too. They're fun at late night campsite arrivals..
We're firing up today and heading to the Oregon Coast for a few days... All systems go, including the new step that Kwikee's wiring instructions were wrong for.
Cheers, John

Carl, thanks for clearing that up for me. I don't have them. I do have "patio lights" on each side up high. One is directly above your docking light location. Its switch is on the control panel above the door with all of the monitoring switches and lights. Bill

My air horn doesn't work. I believe everthing checks out except I may be missing a switch somewhere. Anybody have an air horn switch hidden somewhere. I suspect the toggle switch on the steering colum, which is now hooked up to airbag compressor, may have been for the air horn.

Bill and Sonia,

I to thought my air horns didn't work. Someone told me to hold down the regular horn button a little longer. This worked (for a while), but now they do not work again. I need to trouble shoot. Any suggestions from anyone on how you would go about this endeavour?

Our air horns switch is in center of steer wheel if the air horns won't work the 12 volts horns do!I've our air tanks & system treat like the Trucks do! They put something in the system that lubricates & clean everything in the system! Can check & find out what they use after the 1st of year!

My air horns don't work either, but I'm not much of a horn tooter (except my own, occasionally) so fiixing them is still low on my do-list.

You can download a procedure for cleaning the air horn solenoid, from the Hadley website. It has this note: "This procedure may have to be performed several times per year depending on horn use, climate and mounting location."

Sort of suggests this is a weak spot in the system, and certainly suggests it's the place to start trouble shooting when the horns don't work.

A drop or two of Marvel Mystery Oil in the air line after the compressor helps keep the solenoid free.

My apologies for not starting this thread in "Tech Talk" Maybe Dave can do his magic and move it. I braved the cold temperature this morning to check my dash switches and I do have "Docking Lights" but the switch is marked "accessories". FYI, the five switches to the left of the speedometer are left to right,
1-Clearance lights
2-Aux start
3-Fog lights (not working) have new ones to
be installed
4-Mirrow heaters
5-Isle lights
To the right of the speedometer
1-Accessories (docking lights)
2-Aux heaters
3-Dash mounted defroster fans

Still looking for the fuses to the big outside mirrows and the turn signal lights on the bottom of the mirrows
