Hi, has anyone installed a Holly Sniper throttle body fuel injection system on a 454 Chevy ? Mine is a 1989 Recency 22 Foot with a 454. Is there maybe a better choice ? Thanks

Do not have one, but if my ship comes in that is the TBI to have. There is one made specifically for a Rochester Q-jet manifold. Go for it!!! 1971 24 ft Barth Continental P30 chassis 350 engine

Duane thank you for the reply. Yeah I'm pretty sure it will be the Sniper, it's kinda pricey but hopefully I can save enough on fuel costs to make up for the initial cost. I haven't heard anything negative about the Holly yet.

A while back I intalled a TBI fuel injection on my 454. Huge improvement! https://www.barthmobile.com/eve...1087061/m/3173973877 I haven't checked prices or choices lately. The Holley is more universal and well documented. Let us know what you get! 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp

There is more to it than just the efi. I have edelbrock pro flow 4 on my GTO and my buddy put it in his 86 dually 454 Chevy c30. You will need either an internal or external fuel pump and pressure regulator. The efi needs something like 24psi fuel pressure and the old carb system only produces something like 17.
