Ladies and Gentlemen:

In a continuing effort to always have something on “to do” list we are looking at updating the cruise control. All the aftermarket units we have seen offer a control that mounts on the dash or on the shift lever, we have that now; dangling wires and all. I want controls on the steering wheel.

The aftermarket steering columns we have seen do not offer cruise control wiring, is there a column we don’t know about?

Is there a more modern GM column that will fit in our 1973 P30 chassis?

Thank you:

Tim and Lana

www.painlesspreformance.com offers a very neat steering button control system that I believe will allow you to wire your cruise control through such. If you have never used their products I can tell you they are a FIRST CLASS COMPANY. Pull up their site, then go to WEB CATALOG, THEN click on to RF CONTROL CENTERS. They are the leader in wire devices. I wish you well. Dale P. S. GIVE THEM A CALL TO DISCUSS YOUR NEEDS. I believe they have your answer, but TALK TO THEM.

Excellent source. I do hope to find buttons that can be mounted toward the outside of the wheel. I will give these folks a call.

Thank you:

Timothy
