My blower motor has been making dying sounds for several years and blowing fuses. I finally decided to replace it and have begun the long process of finding the correct replacement. I can tell that the dash system is a Chrysler/Dodge system but cannot find a direct replacement using 94 Dodge truck inputs. My motor has a dual flat shaft and matching blower cage but all the new ones I've found only have a single flat. I have tried several Dodge models and yrs to no avail. Has anybody else run into this problem? I may have to buy a matching blower cage but they cost as much as the motor. Sounds like yours might be different from the one we have discussed before (as found via SEARCH for Blower Motor). https://www.barthmobile.com/eve...913916867#1913916867 | |||

I finally gave up finding an exact replacement and bought one from Advance for a 94 Dodge van with a single flat and no retainer nut. The size and flange location were good, just had to make some new mounting holes. A 1/4 inch round file made my fan work with the new shaft and I just put a little JB Weld on the shaft to hold the fan on. So far, it's working great and blows much more air.
