Hello all!! Does anyone know where I can get a replacement pannel for my 1990 Regency? It is the plastic pannel next to the driver that holds in place the radio, the generator on/off switch, etc... Mine has cracked and has a chunk missing out of it.

If you are talking about the black pastic piece, I went to a sign company and bought a partial sheet of black plastic. The cut and drilled to fit.

Look up Cope Plastics and Cadillac Plastics (St. Louis)and give them a call. I have visited one or the other and found great deals in their damage/broken bin.

I had noticed that the instrument panel is busted on the wide body bmac has for sale in IL too. That panel has two folds in a long piece. Cracks of those panels must be very common. Some of the newer plastics are less brittle. You probably should avoid sheet alum or ss because of conductivity and light reflection into your eyes.

Thanks very much for your help. I recently bought the Barth in IL with the cracked pannel. Your info helps a lot.

I replace all of my dash panels with aluminum. I found it much easier to work with than plastic and I did the main dash in three pieces plus the radio panel. While I was at it I relocated the heater controls and spot light control under the radio so I could mount my ham radio rigs on the front panel and have access to it while in the drivers seat.

Conductivity is no issue and i panted the panels a satin/flat black. I have more reflectivity issue with the top of the dash so I laid a piece of dark cloth on that to prevent reflections in the windscreen.
