what are your thoughts of placing 3inch egg crate foam on my old mattress.I hear egg crates should be down,solid up.i might cancel ordered one due to size problem wally van-isle

We prefer memory pad. Not cheap, but it makes older mattresses feel like new. I think we used 2" on both twins and the fold down couch, and they are all comfortable to sleep on. It's a personal thing but we like it.

We use memory 2" on all the beds and the fold out couch , no one ever complains about the couch.
