Two of four leveling jacks are leaking fluid and not staying up. Local RV repair place wants a fortune...about $500.00 each. Is there anything I can do myself? I don't think previous owner used them but I use them a lot.

I am not speaking from experience but from different experience so there may be some value.
Hydraulic cylinders are pretty normal and have many applications. Generally they are fixed by replacing O-rings and other seals. occasionally replacing the pistons or cylinders if water or other contaminates got into the system and was ignored. If you require someone to come to your location, remove the cylinder, repair and replace it you might incur a charge of $50-10/Hr. If you take the cylinder to the repair location, think tractor or implement dealer, you might get charged a small flat fee plus materials and leave for $25 to $50, if the cylinder is clean and easy to work on, filthy and greasy is extra.

There is a flex hose at each leveler. check carefully for cracks, leaks.

I thought Kevin had posted some good info on the HWH parts but I can't find the thread… hmm

Too bad. There was some good stuff there. hmm

I'll try to find the info and repost it. I will need to work on my own jacks eventually. I didn't think I needed to copy the thread.

If they are HWH, you can send them back to them and they will rebuild them. Make sure you sol. is not bleeding through, but they can fix those too.
