windows and window locks
This message is for anyone owning a barth with the windows marked in the corners TSL as im trying to locate some window locks as some of ours are broke and we cant lock them. Any help or information would be appreciated. Our year is 1994 regency. Thank You RON

The guy who owned my Barth ahead of me used rods that are simular to the kind used on curtins when you want to put them 'inside the window casing'.
you can twist them to tighten to partcular lenght and then wedge them between the moving glass and the frame. I have also seen this arrangement done on sliding glass doors ( with thicker bars, of course.)
I have all my locks but apparently he thought they were inadaquate.

My previous owner did the same as tigger with one modification. He drilled a small 1/16? hole low on the slider and then put a steel pin in the rod. Thereby some crook can't get something in and slide it up. I have these for every window including drivers and passenger.. By the way some of the older coaches have problems with a little air leaking in the cockpit windows. Gets cold and makes noise. If you make the rod long enough you can use it to keep the window closed tight.
