Our levelers have always worked and after we returned home they didn't. When I tried to raise the coach nothing happened except the volt meter went to zero and the wiring on the pump motor got hot. So I removed the motor and took it to a place that repair's electic motors, but no longer 12v motors.

So I took it home and tore the motor apart. What a mess. The unit was full of sandlike particals and just plain dirty. So I cleaned it out, reassembled and it works. Over all the years we have owned the Barth the pump was noisy. It is now quiet. WOW! Also a very cheap fix.
