I just got through pulling off my intake manifold on my 454. I'm putting an Eldelbrock on it. The engine heat sensor comes off a fitting on the radiator hose neck on the intake manifold. There is another fitting that looks like it could also be a sender for the engine heat. It is broken off and is located on the front of the intake manifold. Does anyone have any idea what that might have been used for? There is also a small thing that looks like a vacumm line came out of it. It is located on the right side toward the rear on the top of the manifold. I tried to pry off the line and it broke. I'll ask the guys at the parts counter if they know what it is when I go to buy some new gaskets. Has anyone had better luck with one type of gasket than another? Dennis
