Hi to all: I changed the dial light lenses on my 93 Breakaway. I noted the bake-lite (sp) was brittle and very fragile and broken. Has anyone found a replacement assembly that fits? Is it riveted in place? Any ideas on saving old plastic? Thanks Wayne

What broke? The lenses or the housing? Either should be repairable using a plastic solvent cement. I use 50-50 acetone and MEK. The black housing. Several of he screw receiving tubs are broken and one of the bulb sockets has token free. There is an aluminum panel in the engine compartment so I cn not access the back. Wayne

You should be able to replace the socket after repairing the housing (if it needs it). The housing may be ABS,on which solvent cements won't work; J-B Weld is the answer in that case.
