It should be (1) a GFCI receptacle (2) in a circuit with a GFCI receptacle or (3) protected by a GFCI breaker.

It is common practice in RVs to have a GFCI outlet in the bathroom, and the outside outlets running off of it. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

As others have stated in the past, be sure to completely move the breaker to the off position before resetting it. I replaced the GFI breakers as they kept tripping and I guess it was an age thing as the problem went away. Tom Taylor

Even new ones act up. Our new house has had to have 2 or 3 replacements . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered
