I have a 78/79 24' Barth with a 454 Chevy.

I am not real handy and am doing some work and can't find the fuse box. Any help out there? Thanks, John john.h@starband.net

Hopefully, someone with a Barth like yours will respond with a location.

But, to start the ball rolling..................All Barths are different, but check for a false bottom in a closet or cabinet. There might be a finger hole.

It is likely to be located somewhere between the batteries and genset, as that is where the big power run is. Your converter might be the same place, as well. Plug in to pole power and listen for a hum.

It could also be near your selector switch for genset and pole power.

120VAC or 12VDC? For 12V look under the dash and under the hood (if a Class A).

As bill h mentioned, follow the hum to the converter; the 120V panel is usually nearby.

Since Rusty mentions under the dash, I should mention that my Chevrolet fuses are under the dash. My Barth fuses are in a false bottom of a closet, near the converter and the 120 volt circuit breakers.

There are also automatic 12V circuit breakers in several places. Behind the grill, in the genset compartment and underneath by the aux start solenoid.

I had a Southwind that had inline fuses all over the place. Even in an often wet fender well.

John, my 73 has the converter right rear under seat, and fuse/breaker box left side rear under seat as well beside genny box.

On my '78/79 24 footer (rear bath FP), 110v & 12V breaker/fuse boxes are adjacent to each other
on the bathroom closet exterior wall. Converter is accessed thru false floor in same closet.
