Will be buying 6 tires soon. 8R 19.5. Am familiar with Bridgestone. Anyone have other suggestions? What about Sumitomo? Thanks

I WAS a Bridgestone fan, but after 3 blowouts on the inside rear on the Barth, 2 blowouts on my truck (and replacement under warranty on the remaining two), and three belt separations on the Lexus, I'm no longer interested.

I have Michelin XZAs on the right rear and Sumitomos on the front, which replaced Goodyears after belt separation. Future tires will be Toyo or Michelin.

I just put 4 Sumitomo's on the rear. Was hard for me to spend the money on the Michelins. Haven't had them on a trip yet though.

I've run Bridgestone since day 1 and never had any problem, other than a loose valve stem, which doesn't count, but my local tire store can get me Toyos for the same price as Bridgestones, so I'm putting a pair of Toyos on the front.

I put all china tire on. I go by price as I will never wear them out. Although on our bus I put kumho on back in the early 90s and the guy who bought in '02 just changed them out.
