Finished carpet install using Lowes indoor-outdoor sea blue carpet squares. Did bedroom floor, steps and front deck. I like this approach because it is durable and can be replaced in small sections. I think it looks fine but if something more luxurious is needed, these can be removed and assembled into a pattern for regular carpet. The squares have stripes of glue but that is not enough in most cases...also used carpet glue, especially on verticals. This is relatively easy to cut and shape...but you have to cut from the glue side, which makes things backward.
