A lot of Barths had the Sharp Carousel II micro-convection combo. I saw an equivalent at Lowe's last week - about $500... The Sharp is a very nice unit. Depends on your needs. We pulled out the humongous Sharp convection/micro and replaced it with a small microwave. Reasons: 1. Wife didn't like convection. 2. Microwave can be run by a small Honda generator. 3. Microwave, being smaller, allowed a spice drawer beside it and a pull-out drawer below it, providing a lot of storage space. These are our reasons, but YMMV. As far as brands go, they are all Chinese, so its a crapshoot. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

If you have an oven maybe the convection is unnnecessary, but our coach was built with only a 3 burner cooktop. The Magic Chef micro-convection works great in either mode or a combined mode. We often have a frozen pizza the first night out, and Suzie makes fresh biscuits for biskits n gravy, neither of which would be possible with a micro-only unit. Whatever you get, make sure to get an instruction book, because convection is a different animal from micro or conventional. 79 Barth Classic
