Hi everyone my on board generator has never worked, I am considering removing it but worried about the handling of my breakaway without that 600lbs in the front. Does anyone have any experience in this area ? thanks Paul Finley

The Kohler only weighs around 220# with mounts. I replaced mine with a Honda EV4010, which has been an excellent choice. The downside is it required a custom-built gasoline tank @$450. You didn't mention the year and length of your Breakaway, but you would still have ~5,000#, which is plenty. I was going to suggest this: http://www.swampy.net/s154page.html but google reporting on Fenelon Falls: Weather: 68°F (20°C), Wind E at 5 mph (8 km/h), 90% Humidity >>>or would this be better: http://www.swampy.net/win.html _________________________ The 82 MCC {by Barth} is not an rv-- it is a Motor Coach!!

Good point, Doug. Swamp coolers work best in low humidity. We had an older Swampy, and it was of limited use to us. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

Evaporative Coolers operate when the Relative Humidity is at 25°F or below, and/or the Dew Point is at 55°F or below. Above those temp points and it just makes everything damp. FMC #120 Lou in Aridzona.
