I got the Xantrex unit today, that thing is HEAVY! I am going to mount the inverter/charger in the electrical compartment at the foot of the bed, there will be enough clearance to satisfy their 3" minimum around all sides except the top of the unit (which will face outward toward the drop down door), so I will cut an opening in the door for the fan area which is the only area that would need ventilation on the top. Will put the control panel over the top of the door next to the diagnostic panel.

Will take a lot of pictures and write it up after I finish.
