We went with the Predator 3500 from Harbor Freight. It's locked down to the basket rack on the receiver and Suzie made a canvas cover for it. When we're dry camping I lift it out and set it on the ground and you can barely hear it run. It won't start our roof air but that's an AC problem, not the genny. Run time is about 10 times the Onan GPH. No remote but it does come with electric start.
Also, I've seen pop-up ads for Lithium Ion batteries and found they make large deep-cycle ones for RVs and boats. Pricey but they have a 12 year warrantee and crazy high Amp Hour ratings. I know what a vast improvement L I was in the power tool application, and if these are that much better they would be well worth the initial outlay.

There are a lot of YouTube videos by RV people that have LIPO batteries. Some interesting info. Some of these videos can be misleading as the authors are sponsored by battery manufacturers. LIPO batteries are good but the price is still not where I will go that route yet. They will come down. Just be careful about charging and monitoring as they require special chargers to get maximum life and safety!

Hopefully the small leak is fixed . We are in Arkansas again visiting and it probably rained over an inch last night and the area that got wet last time is dry .

Hope your leak is fixed also, looked like you did an outstanding job, and I am sure your Supervisor would not pass the project unless it was 1st Class!!!

Big job if you are going to do them all. Cleaning the old butyl rubber is the hardest part of the whole deal. Nice when they are done. Looked like you did a good job. I just used butyl tape. Not familiar with the product you used. Probably better than what I used.
