Looks like my front roof A/c unit is toast.

SO

Where is the best deal? I would probably go with a high efficiency 15K BTU unit with heat strip.

I will trouble shoot the existing unit but it has been acting up recently and didn't want to turn on. Last night it just flat quit while connect3d to shore power and now will not turn on.

It also doesn't cool like the rear unit so I know it is getting soft.

TIA

Several of us have had control panel problems----ours was readily diagnosed by the tech guy. The upgrade kits are in the $300 range. Ours works well now, although the digital controls seem to have a delay with initial start up

Ed,
If it is the controls, you should talk to Hank. I was in his coach and he showed me the 'homemade" contol boards/controllers he made for his unit. Quite impressive what he can now do and control with those penguins. And you seem to be just the type of guy to build those types of controls.
Me, I grabbed a set of control boards from him because my rear unit is doing what your front unit was...erratic.
