Looks like there is room for queen or king if you make the rear a slideout or one of those tent type flipouts, and with a set of steps in the middle small dressers on each side.Smiler all who wander are not lost.

Sorry Doorman. I'm sticking with the bunk beds.

Wet sanded the ribbed section with 1500 to knock of the worst the oxidation. Tried a little Nuvite F7. Works well after the sanding.

Pulled the tank. It didn't have an outlet for the generator. I switched the unit with another that did.

Now there is a hose to feed the generator.

You ever wonder how muck wiring is in your barth.
hmm

I salute you, sir! Superman

What a project you have there, I am amazed. If I had a pole barn, another Barth, way more ambition, lots of time and my 33 ft was finished I might try something like that... yeah right!

It would be nice to have a clean slate and be able to do things right, just the way you want it. mechanic

Looking forward to future progress, carry on good man! Thumbs Up

My father once drilled through my foot while I was stepping on a butt block while he drilled from underneath the boat. Supposed to be drilling through the upper RIGHT corner, d@@mit! confusion

Healed up just fine. Hope you're OK, hands are important!

Drilled a bunch of holes to get the last piece of wood out.(remember to keep other hand out of way) Then used sawzaw to get the remaining screws out.

Lift up back edge and put 2x4 there to give room for new plywood.

Ready for new insulation and plywood.

I must say this is an incredible project. I was amazed when you first decided to cut the bustle off and add new framing and aluminum. Now this!

Do you intend to treat the steel floor framing before covering w/plywood? Some kind of rust preventative seems in store...would POR15 be cost prohibitive?

No paint on the inside. I did grind off the worst of the rust. Most of the tubing is still shiny, only where it got wet for years did it rust. On the bottom tubing that is exposed I will be painting it.

Put in some 2" foam. It has a R value of 12.9. The square tubing has an R value of 0. Oh well. It's gotta be better than nothing.

5/8 plywood is down. I used self drilling screws with my screw gun.

Replaced the fuel fill hose while I was there.

The framing for the back is done

The propane tank moved to front of tires. The black tank fits in front of it.
