The front, back and area around the roof vent leak pretty heavily. It looks like there are seams covered poorly in tar. I read that shouldn't be used. I'm wondering what I should use on the roof as it appears to be mostly a single sheet of aluminum. There are seams at the front and back that appear to be the leaking points. I was looking at some sort of sealing aluminum tape. | |||

I used the peel and stick for mobile homes. It's a kind of rubber tape. Clean the surface as well as possible and apply Dyco lap sealant over the edges. Mine has lasted years with no looseness or leaking. 79 Barth Classic | |||

I used a butyl tape tape on mine that looked to be what was originally used from the factory to seal the front cap. I think I bought it a home depot and used a heat gun to get it soft and pliable. | |||
