Installed a Samsung 40" LED TV in one of the basement compartments. You got to be able to watch those football games and NASCAR races. Of course some people might get caught watching a Kentucky Wildcat basketball game !!!

Are those factory hinges or did you install them to get the bay doors up higher?
Great job

Steve VWNice TV! (Just make sure to close that door before you run the snowblower…)
We got 10 inches of snow last night and single digit temps. Not sure when I can work on Barth for a while.

Ed, the hinges are factory on the Foretravel. The TV had to be recessed back about 6" to clear the hinge action when closing the door.

The material came from JoAnn's Fabric Store. AND we are headed that way. Spending about 6 weeks in Florida beginning next week.

Tom knew I was in the middle of this project also. Removed all the old faded graphics and re-striped the coach. Of course, Mike the Tiger was an inspired addition!!!

Deb&Eds38Your coach looks great.
We have a home in South Central Florida near the Ortona Locks on the Caloosahatchee River. If you get this way, stop in.

Danny ZNick, if you get down the west coast, give us a holler. It'd be great to see you even if only for lunch or something. The coach looks great!

TonkaNick,
Your new entertainment center and coach striping look terrific.

Mike on the back of your coach makes me wonder if the roadrunner on the back of ours could be someone's sports mascot. (No one knows when or why ours was added.)

Tom and JulieThe idea is a good one but NEVER weld galvanized metal! The zinc atomizes and is very dangerous. If you must use the stuff grind away all traces of the coating at least 6 inches from the point of the weld and then paint it when finished. Better to buy the proper metal than die making a tv stand.
