This fact is documented in the Jan. 1950 issue of Popular Mechanics magazine, page 115. When I was active in the antique car hobby, I REALLY, REALLY wanted a 'woody'. drove to look at a few. There was a guy in Battle Creek, MI who hand made Ash woody bodies for Model A Fords. But, then (as now) I did not have the skills to do much or the construction, or restoration, on my own. have the utmost respect for you guys with the skills. Why two threads for it? |

The sides and interior look like vintage aircraft stuff, then there's the Straight 8 Packard, (almost as cool as a V-12) If I only had the time and 3 or 4 industrious sons to help me! 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp |
