Looks good for a 70's vehicle. The engine cover looks a bit extreme. With no outside doors, getting into the seats looks a bit like climbing into a low wing aircraft!

This is the first time I heard that the SS was built on the Airstream line. That seems unusual when the differences in construction are considered and the different locations of the two factories.

MWrenchVery brief google search suggests that there was a connection between Airstream founder and Silver Streak founders BUT Can not find any reference that Airstream and Silver Streak were manufacturing partners
I am NOT a good internet researcher. I may have missed something!
