Danny Z started the thread here.

I think I can make it, the only conflict would be with my astronomy club's Messier Marathon, but I think that will be pushed to early April.

Sometimes I think we're alone in the universe, and sometimes I think we're not.
In either case the idea is quite staggering.

I didn't mean for this to be any formal Barth GTG, just an open invite to everyone and to inform you that Suzy and I will be there, along with our friends Jim and Patty, with Bubba and the HiLo.
I suppose the only real difference is no formal food arrangements, but we usually eat together and NEVER starve! We're in 41 and 43, so check out the links in the other post and make your reserves ASAP to get a site around us. Hope to see Rusty and some others of you there.

I'm sorry if I jumped the gun...but if I come, naturally, I'll bring more food. And one of my lighter astro-rigs and my hand cart, so I can set something up.

I talked to Blue Springs today and was told although the park is listed for a maximum of 30 ft, spaces 3 and 5 thru 11 will handle a 32 ft. If you call for reservations do not tell the agent you have more than 30 ft., they will not make the reservation. As of today only space 11 was available. We are going to wait and see if a closer space opens.

Heard from Rusty today that the campground is slap full for that weekend. Too bad, we really wanted to party with some more Barth folks and some old Barth friends. No, Rusty's not old, but, oh heck, you know what I mean!
So here's a good example of putting the word out early and having folks get reservations early when we're going to a State Park or other venue that fills up long before the GTG.
