I was heading south on I 69 near Ft. Wayne IN on thursday and saw a burgundy/silver barth in the rest stop on I69 heading north. I even took the next exit in hopes of visiting, but got there too late. Was it anyone from here? (Might have been a 32' DP but I was driving by the other way.)

Ya know....when a couple guys are just travelin along the highway in a SOB, nobody pays any attention. If it is a Barth however, there is no escaping on the open road without people discussing it across the country on this site. I feel as if there is no escape....pretty cool.

Well, they left on Monday and had the ignition replaced, on Tuesday they had the power steering pump rebuilt,on Wednesday they had the return hose braised, and replaced 35 feet of the other hose. Broken shock on right rear, Flat spots on the tires that went lumpity lump.
But all in all not bad. Now that they're home, we can start to really turn it around. Please humor us when we ask dumb questions that we can't find by searching...like: what is the fan that goes on and off when parked? Don can't figure it out.
Thanks,
Don and Susan

Jerry must attract Barths. I've put 29,000+ miles on mine since 01/06, and the only other Barth I've seen except planned rendezvous, was a 25' at the local Lowe's, and I couldn't locate the owner.

Hey Rusty, you might want to cruise down to Orange Lake this Sunday. You may spy my Barth along I 75. I won't give you too much info so it won't be considered "arranged". I'm driving up to buy a golf cart to add to my toy collection. On Sat night we'll also be overnighting at Orange County Speedway. What a cool little old-time track!

Normally I'd take you up on that, but I leave Monday for an astro-conference in NY, so have to finish D-1 trip prep.
