1992 Barth Breakaway - 30 ft. - 190 Cummins Turbo, Sparten Chassis, Allison Transmission, only the best in this coach. Georgeous interior - bookmatched cabinetry, tile floor in kitchen and bath, leather sofas. Must see! Only has 48,761 original miles - just broken in! This coach was orginally purchased by a gentleman in Idaho. As a result he had an intertherm heating system, a propane heating system, a front under couch electric heater and an off the engine heating system installed. Of course it has double pane windows and 2 air conditioners. Another custom feature is the J couch with fold down snack table as well as the beautiful tile floor in kitchen. Has washer dryer hook up capability in hall closet area and new refrigerator. New Bilstein shocks in front. New back-up camera on order. Kohler 7000 propane generator with 243 hours. Leveling jacks. Has the large porch awning plus smaller ones on the 4 large windows - all roll up into metal sleeve protective covering. Real nice coach.
$39,000 reduced from $45,000

Looks like a nice coach, although pics are very limited. However as others have commented, coaches are selling for less than NADA and this coach is listed for considerably more than NADA. Does anyone know this coach?

I called this seller a long time ago. I am not looking at my file, but I believe he said the cruise didn't work and something else (from the ad and price, I thought it would be perfect). When I said that I would not make the flight down there to see it without at least asking why he set a price that was nearly double nada? I tried to ask as politely as possible because I do think the market is what buyers will pay, not what nada says. But I still didn't want to waste his or my time if he really thought this coach was worth $39k? He got real frosty at this point and told me the price was firm and if I didn't want to pay it.... So I didn't even go look. I suspect our old friend Dave Bowers would say you never know what the price is until you are standing there with your check in hand, but I thought the distance between $39k and reasonable was too far to take the trip.

Yeah, I agree. A long time ago, I came to the realization that most often, what I thought my car, motorcycle, house, motor home, was worth was usually considerably higher than what any buyers with reasonable intelligence.thought it was worth. I paid $15000 for my 85 Regal and have about another $8000 in it. What's it worth? To me, at least $20000. To informed buyers, maybe $9000. Of course there's always the person with more money than brains. I just usually don't find them.

The last known 30' Breakaway sale was for barely over $20K. $39K would get a 5-8 year old Beaver 33'-34', that's how bad the market is.
